GMC's Sirus is equipped with 4+4
operating units and has in infeed and outfeed transfer.
It is ideal for end-matching variable lengths as well as
constant length material such as end copes for the cabinet
industry or parquet flooring with medium to large
dimensions.
STATIONS
Cut-Off includes
a top and bottom horizontal saw.
Profiling/Milling is composed of
a double-motor unit mounted on one support, for machining
pieces with an anti-chipping system (1st motor is a jump
motor commanded by a digital signal and the 2nd is a fixed
motor).
Sirus can operate as a stand
alone machine with a infeed conveyor and outfeed system or
in a line with other types of machinery. One of the
more popular configurations is for random length stiles and
rails for cabinet doors.

operations:
1.) Optimization System
2.) Conveyor with Bar Code
Printer
3.) Transfer with Buffing Station and
Bar Coder Reader to move the CNC controlled fence for sizing
of product
4.) Sirus Machine for end profiles
5.) Conveyor / Buffing Station prior
to the infeed of the Profiling Machine.
6.) PDA/PDA profiling machines for the
lineal processing of the the stiles and rails. This
machine can be equipped for center pieces also.
7.) Outfeed conveyor for sorting sorting the stiles
and rails.
