GMC SERVICE was established in 1982 by a small team of engineers who had worked & gained significant technical-sales experience in a leading international company in Italy, in the woodworking machinery & plants industry.

 They simply started by supplying spare parts & providing technical assistance for woodworking machinery.  A combination of dedication, research & experience allowed the company to advance to designing & manufacturing their own range of up-to-date standard & customised woodworking machinery & complete production lines.

As well as designing individual machines & plants, the firm’s engineering division also plans complete factories for turn-key contracts.

The constant growth of the company has enabled GMC SERVICE to cover the most important sectors in the wood industry:

FLOORING:

Stand-alone machines & complete automatic/electronic production lines: single-end & double-end profiling/squaring machines, multi-rip saws, tongue & grooving machines, multi-grooving machines for the back of the parquet, end-matching machines for standard joint or “click joint” system, for machining 2-3 ply parquet, hardwood parquet, engineered parquet, parquet strips & tiles, laminate parquet.

The “PROFILWOOD” flexible Profiling line composed of a lengthwise profiling machine & an End-Matcher, is clearly one of the best on the market for its’ precision & fast speed (up to 200 mpm). In fact, the profiling machine “ECLISSE” model was the 1st on the market capable of profiling 2-3 plywood engineered parquet with widths varying from 65 to 400 mm.     

The “SUPERANDOM “flexible End-matching machine has a unique random working technique for machining hardwood & engineered parquet with different widths & lengths at a continuous cycle without having to constantly set-up the machine, thus resulting in no time-loss.

PANELS/FURNITURE:

Stand-alone machines & complete automatic/electronic production lines composed of single-end & double-end tenoners/profiling machines for squaring, electronic shaping, profiling, grooving, sanding, chamfering: chipboard, laminate, plywood, hardwood, for kitchen cabinet doors, drawers, frames, garden furniture, insulating materials such as polystyrene, kitchen work-tops & coffins.  

Special machines SPLITTERS inserted in high production lines, for cutting panels lengthwise-crosswise & grooving. 

WINDOWS/DOORS/FRAMES/SHUTTERS:

Stand-alone machines & complete automatic/electronic production lines composed of single/double-end through-feed machines or blocked-piece working systems, for tenoning, profiling, sanding, boring, grooving, machining slots & milling.    

GMC SERVICE also provides a fast efficient AFTER-SALES service for spare parts & technical assistance.  The company offers a full range of spare parts not only for their own machines but also for other models of used Tenoners, Moulders & Multi-rip saws.  The technical assistance consists in installing, modifying, servicing machinery & staff training, all carried out at the customer’s factory by the company’s qualified technicians.
